SLEEP DEPRIVATION =(

Good morning Crystal. Reading your post sounds so familier. If you read back a few days... you'll see I was just about at my wits end. I had the sleeping problem a few days into my quit as well, and it lasted till day 24 for me. I pray this doesn't happen that long for you Crystal. I felt all those same feelings as you are right now, (add in a couple of others even). Fighting this quit for people like us is expecially difficult because not only do we have to face the Nico withdrawls and the S*** that goes with that, we get to do it feeling like Zombies from the lack of sleep. I wouldn't give in and try sleeping aids, perhaps that is an option for you. Are you getting excersize Crystal? Fresh air helps alot. The power of a long slow walk is imeasureable! I spent lots of time posting, and waiting... sometimes almost in tears... for a reply. Someone to cling too, help me through the dark moments. (Which was almost always for me). Keep fighting Crystal... your not alone in this! Were all pulling for you! Take care, Ron My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/12/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 26 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 923 Amount Saved: $175.5 Life Gained: Days: 4 Hrs: 2 Mins: 5 Seconds: 2

let me try this again...

Hey DD... WAY TO GO!!! What you did is a very big deal! It's been almost a month for me, and I'm scared to go into my wood shop and work there. Building furniture for me was the ultimate relaxation. By myself, working with beautiful wood, enjoying Cigg after Cigg. Today is the day for me though. I need to fight the Nicodemon, take back my woodshop! You have your focus... you want to quit smoking. Keep the quit going! And remember... N.O.P.E. Were all here for you when you need us! Does anyone else do this?

It seems like we get our inner strength from trying to help others. I know this may sound funny but hoping and praying the new people find the power within themselves to fight this evil addiction, gives me the strength to keep the quit as well. I'm so very proud of all you people!
