ex-smoker attitudes

Hi Correen, I know what you mean. I made the mistake myself. After a few days of not smoking I tried to convince people how great it was and all. WRONG !!! Although I didn't mean it in a bad way but smokers just don't want anyone to tell them how bad smoking is. Thank God I came to my senses. Now I am happy that I don't smoke and I let the smokers smoke and say nothing about it. I'm glad that I don't have to do it anymore. Have a nice day. :)FINI :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 114 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,856 Amount Saved: 336.3 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 17 Mins: 15 Seconds: 16

Nothing but good things !!

Hi everyone, Another story about how good life is when you don't smoke. Here in The Netherlands our cars have to get a check up every year. Today I had to go there. There was a waitingroom and that's where I had a cup of coffee. I just sat there and thought about last year, when I still was a smoker. How convenient is life as a non smoker. I had to wait for almost 2 hours and I didn't care....lol. I watched the people who smoke cause they go in and out the room all the time. Did I mention that you can smell them too??? LOL. Another good thing is the moneything. Normaly I was scared if they found something which had to be repaired. At the end of the month I was a little short on money. Not anymore.....I am not afraid of the end of the month. I have always money now. So, that's my positive story of the day. I wish you all the best and I'm glad to know you guys. Good luck and good health to all the brave quiters all over the world. Problem and one I did not expect ???

Hi Ian, I know what you man and I went through the very same thing. I didn't like myself anymore after 2 weeks of non-smoking. I was not a very nice person then and I think it's the poison in your body that is getting out. I still like the smell of a fresh cigaret but I don't mind that. I hope you deal with this but I know you can do that. Enjoy being a non-smoker and make fun with your lovely wife. Hang in there and a big hug for you and Brenda. I am just so fed up

Dear Darcy, It's easy for me to say but this is just one of those days. It really will get better. The problem is: Your body is filled with poison and that stuff has to get out of there. If you know what is in a cigaret you understand that. That detoxing makes you mad, angry and a person you don't like. That is no fun at all. On the other hand it is a positive thing. It tells you that your body is recovering which is good. I hope you feel better soon and try to see it in a positive way. I always said: I enjoy the withdrawalsymptoms, they show me that I'm on the right track. Love from Holland, :)FINI :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 4/1/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 114 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,866 Amount Saved: 336.3 Life Gained: Days: 15 Hrs: 18 Mins: 27 Seconds: 1
