Monica.. thank you so much for reading this thread to Jean. I am so sorry that she is so down. I know the end of a relationship can tear a person's world apart. I am so glad that she has someone there she can talk with to help her through it. We will be right here waiting with open arms when she feels up to coming back. Yes, it is a good sign that she made you a promise. She may be starting to see that light at the end of the tunnel. We are here for her... she's gonna make it. She just needs a little time to cope with the changes in her life. I am glad to hear that she is doing well in her quit despite everything else that is going on. She is a very strong person! Lou P Lou checking in! Doing great today, still tired, but off work tomorrow so I am going to sleep as long as I can. First of all I want to say Happy Mother's Day to all of our mother's. Isn't it wonderful to be a mom? My kids are getting older now and don't seem to "need" me as much, but on days like Mother's Day I realize that no matter how old they get they still need and want mom in their lives. \ Next, welcome to the April Ashkickers Carylene!!! Jean came up with the name of the group... and I have to say it is very fitting! Glad you have joined us! I knew it was going to be hard to take this journey alone and was so happy to find this site.. then within this site to find a group of people who quit the same month I did and in the same stages of quitting as me. It is a great tool for me to help me through! I am glad you have joined us, there is power in numbers. banana.. the smell of smoke is also getting to me. A friend of mine at work quit when I did. But she has gone back to smoking again. I haven't been outside with her because I thought it would make me want one. The other day we still had 10 minutes left on lunch so I went outside while she smoked. The smell was awful. I hate to think that I used to smoke those stinky things.. then afterward, my firend stank also.
