Gaining weight! :(

Hi!!! As you can see Im new at the forum and am still starting to be out of smoke for the I dont know how many times now... Ive been spending the last weeks someking 1 to 2 cigarretes a day except for party days with friends but have decided that it is time to try and end it for good... But I'm already watching some weight gain! :( :( :( :( :( I dont notice that I'm eating more but maybe worst choices of what to eat... As I'm alreary a bit out of weight I'm getting realy frustrated at thid weight gain... Are there any good ideas of how to start fighting this weight gain? It can sound stupid but I'm rrally affraid that this weight gain may lead me to start smoking again as it did some of the times before... Kisses and good luck everyone!!! :) My Mileage Smoke-Free Days: 1 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 21 Amount Saved: 3.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 1 Mins: 50 Seconds: 57

Going away for vacations!!!

Victory! :) Thanks you all with your support! :) What amazes me is the number of cigarettes not smoked! Because I knew it was 20 per day but never had count how many after a few days and it's really amazing!!! I'm really proud of me by now! :) kissessssssssss Cat My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 10 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 200 Amount Saved: 30.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 17 Mins: 37 Seconds: 15

For those of us who have quit in August ...

Hi! Count me in for the Augusto's group! I'm far far away from you all in the USA, but very near in this trip for our healths! :) I've been drinking lot's of water, doing more exercise and reminding me about the advantage of being a non-smoker! And all of this has helped me a lot in the last days! :) I still wake up with an horrible mouth smell because of the tobaco so I'm really anxious to get to the day when it will simply not happen anymore!.. (please forgive for all the mistakes.... Portuguese is my home language...) Another thig that really helps me is to look at the numbers in the mileage going up and up! I don't want to see them down again and I'm really terrified I won't be able to reach this stage again or that it will take too long to try again (last time I really tried was last summer (stayed 2 monthes without smoking and as soon as work and studies and all the stress re-began I started to smoke again...)... that helps now... B ut then again.. 24 of September that's when all the stress will happen again (work+university) so I'm really afrais this time but then again... I'm confident this will be the last time I'll have to stop smoking!!! :) So, good luck you all!!! And keep writing!!! Manyu kisses from sunny warm Portugal!:):):):):) Cat My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/6/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 12 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 240 Amount Saved: 36.00 Life Gained: Days: 0 Hrs: 22 Mins: 24 Seconds: 1
