I went to 1 pill a day (morning) after being on Chantix for 2 weeks. The pills made me sick to my stomach and I wasn't sleeping well.
I noticed cravings in the evening when I would normally take my second pill and they lasted for about a week. I still get craves occasionally, but not as bad.
I figured I needed something to do in the evening to keep me from thinking about smoking. I now excercise every night no matter what and I really don't think about cigs any more. I'm going to take 1 pill a day until they're gone but I don't think I'll need to get another refill.
I know I couldn't have done it without the Chantix and I'm so thankful for my quit :)

Way to go John! I have been doing cardio excercises every night since about 2 weeks into my quit - something I've never wanted to do because I would cough my head off! I started to excercise because I was feeling depressed and a little lost after quitting. It's a great substitute for cigs and I sleep better than ever. Keep up the good work :)

I'm doing better than I thought I ever could. My craves are pretty much gone, I'll still get one out of nowhere but they're very managable. It hasn't been easy at all, luckily my friends and family have been so understanding. My quit has been a rollercoaster ride and I think it's finally leveling off. I hope all you Mayflowers are feeling as good as I feel!
Just wanting to hear from all May quitters, please let me know how you're doing.

Hang in there Janna, it gets easier I promise.
You are almost through the worst part of all. It's hard to appreciate the fact that you've made it 8 days when you feel like you do right now. Believe me, not smoking anymore is worth a few days of discomfort. Just keep moving forward and you will get through this, we're all here to help
