Question about....

Hello 2cents. I am a Chantix user and I agree that it has been a huge help, but you also have to have the desire to quit. I still had cravings, some big and some small. I had to resist and be strong, and believe me there were days I wanted to smoke myself to death. Chantix users have an advantage but they also need to have coping skills and a strong desire to quit. Each day it gets easier, trust me!!! Calling the Mayflowers

I think we should camp out under the stars in the new tree house, toast marshmellows and tell scary stories :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 16 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 272 Amount Saved: $67.20 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 11 Mins: 6 Seconds: 24

Handeling the Depression and Funkie Moods

Thanks for the insight. I have been feeling funky lately and I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because of my quit, I have never quit before so I don't know what to expect. I know I should be really excited that I have come this far and I was for like the first 2 weeks. Now I feel indifferent to the whole process. I should be jumping for joy because I have made it for 27 days, but I don't feel excited and I can't explain it. Hopefully this will pass because I'm a positive person and I don't like feeling down. I have been exercising more and trying to enjoy my smoke free life but it seems to be a struggle lately. Any suggestions or coping strategies???? By the way Mercy, your suggestion about writing down things I am grateful helped a little :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/8/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 27 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 459 Amount Saved: $113.40 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 10 Mins: 47 Seconds: 42

So it begins

Good luck with your quit. I'm a Chantix user and it's wonderful. Other than a few side effects, it's a great NRT. You still have to want to quit, and believe me it hasn't always been easy. This website has been a great help when I'm feeling weak or frustrated. I realize that I can't do this alone, I don't think I would want to :) We are here for you all the way, Congrats!!!!!!
