Thanks Guys I can,t help thinking how ironical this all is.It all started by reading an add in the local paper "PUFFERS WANTED".
To this day I don,t know why I decided to attend this seminar.I think now it was out of boredom..
But I,m a luckey old b------ and the free meds was a bonus because if I had to pay for them you would have never seen the Bear.
When I found this site there was no plan to quit smoking, everthing I,d ever done in the past was by the a-- of my pants.
As you can see by my 1,st post I was still undecided even knowing the consequences of continuing to smoke.
But I decided to hang around just to see what was going on.Now I feel like I,m part of an extended family.
My success is all yours and you should give yourself a pat on the back.Without you I would have never stayed !!! Bear

Not to worry Changing.. The only reason I,m here is the price is right and during the summer I get to sit outside and enjoy the weather, birds and flowers.
And if I,m a good boy I even get to throw a few shrimps on the barbi. and have a few turbo pops !!!! ;p

Did anybody catch Oprah yesterday (I know real men don,t watch Oprah !!!)
For those that did you,ll know what I,m talking about.
She had a young British psychologist that said we all carry beliefs around with us about ourselves and the world we live in and then go out to prove we are right..
And if you stop to think about it it has some merit.
How many times have you said "oh I can,t do that" only to deprive yourself of a realy great experience and then later find out that you realy could do it.
My point is this.If you believe you can quit smoking your going to go out to prove your right come hell or highwater..
Just so you know...Bear

Hi Danielle Yes the brain is truly an amazing thing.I,ve spent 30 years of my life pocking at mine with very limited success..
It also appears that the old adage experience is the best teacher is very true also.
For those of you who have children how many times have you told them "thats hot" and had them burn themselves to get the picture.
Unfortunatly we seem to carry this attitude into into adulthood.
How many times where we told smoking is bad for us only to carry on anyway.
Now we have to go through all this pain of withdrawel to learn that Not Smoking is better for us..Kind of makes you wonder does,nt it ???? :quest:
