Good Morning Soldiers in the S.S.C.
The sun is shining the temp is rising and so is the Bear !!!
Sunshine don,t you be encouraging me to party I,m a master at this one for all the wrong reasons ;)
In answer to your 2,nd question I see so many people expressing fear when it comes time for their quit date or even when their in the process.
I,m sorry but I don,t see fear as a normal reaction to quitting smoking I understand it but do not accept it.
Fear is only normal when we are faced with a life and death situation it,s the thing that activates the body to either fight or flight.I suspect It,s probably the reason many of us started to smoke right from the start along with the many other things we are faced with in life(bad jobs, relationships, dumb bosses, and the list goes on and on)
My intention here was to open a dialouge here so that we could discuss these fears so that we could find ways of coping with this very destructive behaviour called fear.
For me I have to remind myself to stay in the here and now because I have a very bad habit of wandering of into the future where I imagine all the catastrophes that may ???? happen as a result of not having the money to take care of them.Things like what will I do if my car breaks down and I can,t afford to get it fixed.I know.I know. People are going to say why does,nt he plan ahead so he,s prepared.Fact of the matter is I,m not very good at it.Bad impulse and instant gratification control ;p
Well enough of my rambling I hope that clarifys some of my thoughts !!
You,ll never guess what I just found ???
A Big Old Fatboy.
I caressed it,smelt it I even put it in my mouth and thought just one puff won,t hurt will it ???
Talk about dancing with devil !!! :eg:
Just teasing I gave it to my neighbour he thinks he,s a big shot ???
