Have been smoke free for 7 days and had the auriculotherapy done. I believe it did help, with the cravings. But, still have these anxiety attacks. I have been working on deep breaths and lots of water seems to help. This site seems like it will be alot of great help and advise, just reading the post has helped me. Thanks and good luck to all. Glad to meet you folks!

Wow denny, your going to do great. I only smoked in the basement after it turned cold out. That has became one of my triggers now. The cat sits at the top of the stairs and wants me to go down since I played with her while I was down there. She will have to wait a while longer :) Happy Valentines Day! Thank you all, things are better today. Not so anxious and my breathing is better. I have been staying very busy and it has helped alot. Reading the great accomplishments people have made with their quiting has been very inspiring. Just have to take it one day at a time.

TV Junkie

That is funny. I also love ER from the beginning. I have the telephone trigger and now hate to know the telephones for me. That's a weird one I have to work on. Good Luck! Staying busy helps alot. I have the cleanest house in the South, and it's only been 10 days. Suckers are helping me and I can always chew on the stick for awhile. Drinking lots of water and the breathing exercises help a great deal too. Good Luck! New med is a lifesaver....

I LOVE that faithfreedom, The "stinkin' thinkin'" is the addiction, the junkie in you trying to lure you back. Smack it back HARD and remind yourself that smoking is not an option. I'm sure I'll be using that on myself when the urge gets bad,Thanks! Good Luck! Sher you can do this and you can get alot of help reading all these post, your sure not alone in this. Best Wishes on your Quit!
