Hi Phillip,
I sure do love all of your posts. It was very lonely while you were out!LOL
I think the party is a great idea!! I too loved gatherings, especially being the host(ess). I really do miss those!! Unfortunately, majority of my friends/family smoke. I am not in the mood to deal with them yet. Especially the stink they will carry around in my house!!
Keep on posting. You are a very important person in my quit.
p.s. - Sushi sounds GREAT!!!!!!! ;p

Firstly. congratulations on your quit!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a great post. I too, will be making my list. I do reward myself a lot, but I want new ideas.
I too get chair massages. They are free at our Brookstone store. My friend also bought one, so everytime I am there, I sieze the opportunity! They do sometimes make me nauseaous too from the pain, but it is a good pain....... AAAAHHHHHHHH ((FREE))
I also spend time with my girls. This is a reward for me. I also put them off. "Let me finish my smoke," "Just one more minute", etc.. I spent most of my time in the garage, smoking. So now, we have a manicure/pedicure time once a week. They love it. ((FREE))
We also go on walks almost every night. This too is a reward, because it is time for us, as a family. ((FREE))
We also get a smoothie once a week. Not very expensive. ((LOW-COST))
I have started my own vegetable garden. It is now a hobby and a reward, as I can buy more plants. ((LOW-COST))
New books. ((LOW-COST))
This summer, I plan to go the beach a lot. Family time. ((FREE))
I will also take up free-style swimming. Again, family time. ((FREE))
I look forward to seeing everyone elses responses!!!! :)

Okay. Yesterday, I was good.
B- Coffee
S- Cottage cheese w/cucumbers, peanuts
L- Left over taco salad
S- nothing.......
D- Baked fish, 1/2 plate full of grilled veggies, sauteed mushrooms, 1 cornbread muffin, and 1/2 orange.
I did have dessert. A BIG scoop of Black Cherry frozen yogurt. I absolutely love that stuff....
Didn't get to walk. Spent from 2:30-6:00 helping my 7yr old finish her report. Then off to fix dinner, then bathe the kids, and get them to sleep............
Maybe I could just use my greasy cheeseburger as a reward, some of the time. That way I am not banning it from my diet, but allowing myself to have one, on occasion.
I am trying to eat a little more often. That is my big problem. I binge. I need to stop that. Now.
Thanks.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
I posted a few times today, but never even read the meter!! Wierd.
Since I just went out and spent several hundred on the birthday party, I guess whatever is left is for me??
I did have McDonalds today for lunch. Does that count?
Naahhhhhhhhhhhhh.......... MAMAS LOOKING FOR A NEW PAIR OF SHOES.....
I guess it's too late right now, but I'll buy my reward tomorrow!!!
Thank you again!! I would have never made it without all of you. All of you who told me in my beginning that I would grow into my quit, well, ((((HUGS)))) to you. It took me only 3 days to "accept" it... And here I am.
Dang, time goes by so fast.

Kendall,
I hope you are still around. I wanted to congratulate you for your quit!
You are probably feeling lousy because of the nicotine withdrawl. It sure does a number on you. Hang in there.
The more water you drink, the better. It helps flush out all toxins. You will feel better, quicker.
I stuck with water, cranberry juice, and hard candies. Oh, I also slept and came here. All day. For 3 days straight.
Be easy on yourself. Just remember to fight. Never give in!!
You can do it!!!! :)
p.s.- I am on the IM in the mornings if ya need me!!!
