I Made A Promise So Here I Am...Help Please!!

You're welcome redrosie! I'm glad it helped. We go through the same stages when we quit smoking as when we lose a loved one. Interesting, huh? You can't rush the stages, they work through in their own sweet time. All you can do is give it time, all while learning how to live your life without what you lost. thanks for the hug :p ~lbugg~

A Group Promise

I promise to come in here and post if I feel my quit is in danger! I will wait for at least 15 replies before deciding if a cig is worth polluting my lungs and life. Thanks joyful! :) ~lbugg~ My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 363 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 19,288 Amount Saved: $2395.8 Life Gained: Days: 35 Hrs: 10 Mins: 45 Seconds: 45

I Made A Promise So Here I Am...Help Please!!

redrosie, I'm going to bump a post for you by August. Read the first part very carefully. Over and over again if you must. You made this decision to quit smoking while you were of sound mind. During this quit journey we just don't have full use of all our brain cells. Our mind is warped and very susceptible to the whisperings from our addicted self (nicodemon, if you will). Trust the decision you made at the beginning. You knew then that this would be hard but you also knew that it could be sone! You've already been through worse, you can do this! Dig your heels in and see it through, you'll be so glad that you did! Gotta do it

The best wat to do that, determined, is to hook up on the SSC messenger, then trade e-mails so you can contact at other times. I'll log in now. How I Became "Smoke Free" PART 4

Hi Pyromate, I took the liberty of tying in the links for all 4 parts. Maybe you could copy and paste the rest of this message to a whole new thread so newbies can find them all in one place? It won't be as much fun as it was for all of us, but at least no one will wonder what they're missing!
