Getting Ready for Tomorrow!!!

*laffin* Ladies and gentlemen, In the blue corner, we have Kendall! He's a new fighter, still feeling his way aound the ring. In the red corner we have Nic O. Demon. He's been around the ring a few times. Really knows how to exploit his opponents weaknesses. *ding, ding* Round one, folks. They're squaring off. Kendall's doing pretty good. Got Demon rockin' back a little. Uhoh... looks like Demon got in a few jabs there. *ding, ding* Well folks, it was close, but round one is a decision to Demon. But I'll tell ya what I think...Kendall's got what it takes. I think all old Nico did in that round is piss him off. Look at the fire in those eyes. If Kendall can harness that anger and make it work for him, I bet he's gonna come out a champion! sorry...cold meds do wierd things to my thinking.. :p ~lbugg~ My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 413 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 21,891 Amount Saved: $2725.8 Life Gained: Days: 40 Hrs: 5 Mins: 37 Seconds: 24

ASKING FOR HELP

Lana, You are a strong lady. Don't forget that! You haven't made it this far by letting your addiction take control. Tomorrow isn't any different than today. When you wake up in the morning, make a promise to yourself that you will not smoke today, just for today. Make yourself a little 'safety pack' to take along...water, gum, hard candies, straws...whatever you have found works for you. Maybe take a pen and right N.O.P.E. on your smoking hand. Most importantly, decide on a reward that you can have when you get home! Give yourself something to look forward to after a stressful day! Prayers, ~lbugg~ My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/17/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 413 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 21,889 Amount Saved: $2725.8 Life Gained: Days: 40 Hrs: 5 Mins: 33 Seconds: 20

Hall Of Fame Recipient for May 2006

~teary smile and huggs~ Thank you all! I've been pretty overwhelmed by this! And struggling for words (yes, me having trouble finding words! ;) ) There are so many people deserving of this and I'm still surprised that I'm here! It's humbling when I look at the Hall of Fame and see the members there! So many of the people I've looked up to in this journey. You've all been factors at some point in my quit. By helping me get started, keeping me going, or helping me maintain it. Thanks go to all of you quitters and also to the moderators! I wouldn't be here without y'all! We CAN do this!
