Happy New Year! Who's quitting?

Hi everyone

I decides to quit on Tuesday. I've been exercising and cutting back. The exercise has helped a lot with managing stress. Issues in my personal life have been calming down. Work stress has bee calming down. I am feeling positive. Maybe I can do it this time!

Thanks for your help everyone. I read and reread all the posts I get.

Any tips for Tuesday? I'm a bit nervous. I really want to finally be done with smoking!!

I'm glad you are feeling better anna

I am finding exercise really helps with my mood. I'm a bit nervous because I will be quitting smoking Tuesday and my mood always takes a nose dive when I try to quit. What helped you manage your mood when you were going through stressful life events?

Thanx Anna

I've been doing nothing all weekend and I think it's helping! Lol

I wasn't able to quit but I'm down to one smoke a day. Next week is a new week!

How are you doing?

Happy New Year! Who's quitting?

Thanx timbo!

I still haven't quit but I also haven't given up quitting yet. That's an achievement for me. I quit quitting likely 100 times by now. I'm down to one smoke a day. I hope to cut back or maybe even stop for good next week..baby steps for me.

Still sober too! Celebrating small successes over here.

Quitting again! Anyone else?

Thank Timbo. Everything you wrote was very helpful. I came back to read it a few times during the week. I made it through the week. It's not easy but the cravings are getting less intense. I'm starting to feel more optimistic. Maybe this time I can do it.

I'm going cold turkey but I cut back quote a bit before going cold turkey.

I'm staying strong ? ?

Thanks again for your support and advice.
