Hello this is my first post and its evening here in the UK, my last smoke was the evening of the 31st May 2019, so this is my 3rd day, I have smoked for over 40 years (Im 60 now) so this is all very new to me but Im trying
Hi I have smoked for over 40 years and this is my 3rd day not smoking, Im using 21mg 24 hour patches and feeling quite good, I noticed my breathing is improving and pleased I have not spent £19 on rolling tobacco, early days yet but one day at a time
A benefit I am starting to notice is taste, I have just had my lunch (I work permanent night shift 5 nights a week and Monday/Tuesday is my weekend) lunch is around 2 -3am, just had Stilton Cheese on Crackers + mug of Tea and enjoyed it very much, looking forward to my next Curry !
I find when I'm busy I forget about smoking and outside of work my hobby is building high end gaming PCs, I also like to game, at home our extra bedroom is my Computer room and I have three gaming Computers online and they keep me quite busy so my advice (it may also work for you) is embrace your hobby/hobbies it may help on your quit smoking journey
