Newbie again

Hi All,

I'm Paula from Ireland, I'm 29 and have smoked since I was about 14 years old! I quit last February and unfortunately started smoking again in December- almost 9 months under my belt :( I've quit before as well for 18 months. Really want to stop again but I am feeling scared! I'm getting married at the end of March and everything is all quite hectic at the moment! (I do know that this is mind monkeys talking and that I'm coming up with excuses)! My hen party is this weekend and I will be the only smoker out of a group of 20+ women which I'm quite embarrassed about.

I smoke about 20 a day at the moment and I feel awful, very tired, low energy etc. I haven't really been exercising since I started smoking again. My main problem is that I can't think of when is the right time to stop- I know that there's never a 'right time' but I just want to try and set myself up well from the beginning!

Anyways, just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself! Hopefully chat to you all soon,

Aching jaw?

Hi all, so 1 1/2 days down and feeling good! After the weeks of humming and hawing about making the decision to stop, it's been quite easy since the decision was made! The hesitation and doubt before you stop is a pain in the ass! So feeling good but 'uncomfortable' - my jaw feels tight and achy, feel a bit spaced out and had a few mild road rage incidents! I'm eating well though, lots of water and sleep! Listening to lots of upbeat music as well which is a great help! Any advice on the tight jaw- that's the one thing that's bothering me at the moment! Thanks guys! P x
