Hey everybody

Hey, I'm quitting for my 5th time this year. Need some help so figured I'd join this forum so that I dont feel so alone in this. I've had a few successful attempts. Last time I quit for about 4 months. Just really wanna make it permanent this time. I have smoked since I was 13. I'm 30 now. Never smoked more than about 12-15 per day. I recently started suffering from some panic attacks and supposedly you're not supposed to smoke if you have a panic disorder, so I figured might as well quit. Also going through hell while withdrawing from benzos (taken for the panic), so I figured I might as well just quit while I already feel like crap. Hope to make some new friends and get some much needed support. Thanks in advance and good luck to us all!

Introduction

COngrats on your decision! I too was a runner, until I started smoking heavily. Last time I quit, I started running again and then stopped again when I picked up another cigarette. Gonna give it a couple weeks to regain some composure but hope to be pounding the pavement again in a couple weeks. Of course it will be cold outside now, guess it's back to the treadmill!! Good Luck!
