I quit last night at 6 p.m.

Hello everyone!  My name is Dawn.  I am 27 years old.  I have been smoking for 8 years now about a pack a day.  I recently quit at 6 p.m. last night and it is now almost 2 p.m. the next day.  So far so good, but I keep feeling like giving up.  But I am not giving up!  I can do this....

What makes you smile?

Well I smile now thinking about them.  My daughter and son!  They deserve a non smoking cancer free mommy to run around with.  Wow....that brought a good feeling into day 1 and a half of no smoking...

Hello Jim!

Thank you so much!  I feel like I can breathe better already, aside from the lollipops and straws, breathing exercises are helping at times.  I am still at work right now, the drive home and at home will be the hardest.  There is no smoking done inside the house at least.  There just won't be any porch visits for me.  Love the kick the ash comment!  That idea helps alot.  Thank goodness the car is mostly leather, but still smelly at the moment.

Have a great afternoon,

Dawn
