Site has changed a lot since I was here last, but I come again as a newbie. On Day 3 of a drug regimen that I hope won't last 30 or 60 days. Quit date is 25 Feb -- got to give the drugs time to do their thing, even though they make me feel loopy. Goal this time around the block is to avoid moderator wrath -- never could do that before! Older and wiser, maybe?

Just what I need to hear with my next and final quit date 2 days away. Thanks!

Wow -- I did 9 months last year, too! For me, it was a sudden crisis at work, combined with a sudden crisis at home. Totally lame excuse, I know, but I still feel like I did what I had to do to get through it. I'm looking forward to Monday!

Mechanisms are in place. Workbook is complete (again!). I get that it's a process -- I just need this to be my last time with it!! (BTW, the pic is my granddaughter, who is doing great now, but who got us all into the March of Dimes. Who can smoke and walk for March of Dimes???) Duh!

Just wondering/hoping that someone else might be joining me on February 25 for my quit date. I woke up in a cold sweat this morning, thinking that this was the day. I decided to stay smoke free after my morning shower until all of my obligations were met for the day. It was pretty cool, knowing that I didn't smell!!
Will wake up in a total cold sweat tomorrow, knowing that this is really it -- but I'm ready. Bring it on!

THANKS!
I am SO READY to begin this journey again. I messed up up big time last June; I am really hoping not to mess up again.
(The REAL fun is going to see how far I can go before I get sensored by the SCC staff! I am truly hoping never to be censored again!!)
I know I couldn't do it without you, and I look forward to making new friends in this latest, and I am confident, LAST quit.

Thank you so much! It worked really well in high school back in the 70s in Southern California, but is so not working now! It is SO time to make it go away... I am so psyched about traveling this road with you all!!

I go on Monday, 25 Feb. I am so with you! I will be behind you, watching your back. Yeah, I'm way late and looser for blowing it before, but I can take care of myself and watch your back. Keep in touch == I'm your new best friend.

Oh God, Choose, I SO know that feeling!! "Support my quit but don't mess with me while I deal with my own consequences..."
Confused is good; it means you have options. You do.
Choose to be free.
Once done, rooms don't matter. How cool is that???

It really is okay to ignore callers with whom you don't wish to speak. Just because technology has cauvht up with out personal lives doesn't mean we have to conform our lives to technology. Just say no, don't answer, and delete messages. What could be easier?
