Medication Woes

Kittcat,

It is so good to hear you are back at work full-time!

In general, most medications take time to build a therapeutic level in your system. As it does, the effect it produces will become more pronounced and stable. Hopefully after three weeks your sleeping patterns will improve.   Although your psychiatrist was against the change, you are the expert of your own body. By acknowledging the side effects of your previous meds, you are able to find a balance that you can truly appreciate. Experimenting and finding a healthy balance can be difficult so continue to post and let us know how you are doing!

Exposure work confusion

Gene,   It can be very difficult to constantly feel motivated. However, continue to concentrate on your achievements, such as going to the gym during peak hours.   You got some really positive advice from Joe as well. Have you tried creating a list of future achievements for yourself? Please let us know how that has worked for you!   Members, what are some other ways you motivate yourself in times of need?     Sarah, Health Educator
