Quitting is no drama.

Dutch, Sorry I missed this, I just woke up! Today is a holiday here and I talked my 7 year old into sleeping in today! How lucky am I?? I have to agree with you that a positive take on this journey can only help you! Sure, there are still good days and bad days but overall, life is good! I must quit!

Preggy, Please, please, please don't end up like me......wishing you had NOT smoked during your pregnancy! I will forever regret that I did not stop BEFORE, DURING or AFTER my pregnancy. It causes more problems than low birth weight, early delivery, etc. You have the opportunity to give your child a healthy start! Make the right choice! And I vow to help you in any way I can! I can't do it for you, BUT if I could, it would already be done!!! Thanks for last night and is crying normal and cravings

Marie, After reading your last post, I say go girl!!!!! Realize that at this stage, your quit is like a teeny, tiny newborn baby. Protect it fiercely with everything you have! You haven't wasted a single second today! Arming yourself with the support and knowledge to keep your quit strong and healthy is the best thing you can do right now! You've got a real positive attitude now and that will really help you keep your quit! A good laugh or two (even if its at yourself) helps too! Stay strong! Look forward to seeing that big first day on your meter tomorrow! Day 1 - 18 hours and counting...

Way to go, Interesting! I'm glad you are taking it easy on yourself these first few days/weeks. Your body will need extra rest for a while because its working so incredibly hard to rid itself of years and years of toxins. Don't forget to plan a nice reward or two real soon! Keep up the strong quit!!!!
