Thanks for that, actually smoking in offices is pretty much taboo here too and there was no smoking in our room today, but its just seeing them there.

H, know exectly what you been thru. I was at a hotel for a meeting today, there was 1 smoker in the room and guess what - yes she sat next to me :8o:
It wasn't the smell or anything like that, but she had a packet with a lighter on the table almost right in front of me - I had to stare at them all day!! Also she went out for a cig every break time.
I am happy to report that I was not (even once) tempted to have one, but what it did do was remind me of cigarettes all day. I actually get more of a kick from resisting now rather than smoking, but it certainly has tested my resolve.

Hi Georgia - you have certainly come to the right place here. We are all in this boat together and we will help each other to succeed as well!! I too have tried to quit before (cold turkey not zyban)and am currently using patches for the first time. As you can see I have a long way to go but am very confident that with the support of all the great folk on this site I will succeed this time around.

I was pretty surprised to read this, I have read loads of your posts and have found them uplifting even if they are not for me. I am early in my quit and I can honestly say that I probably would not have made it so far without them so please don't stop. Anyway, how do you get all those faces? I can't fugure it out :quest:
