Knashtrays - check this out

Just been to the gym and did 30 mins on the rower and 15 mins on the eliptical trainer and was hardly out of breath. I was going to the gyn before I quit so it's not that I am any fitter. No, this is down purely to not having had a smoke for 12 days! If you need any incentive to stay focussed and determined then this is it. Keep at it folks !! Ready to slip..

Hi Matt, there are many good resons for no having even 1 and one of them is that if you do you are going to have to go through the last 3 days all over again - just think about it. I know what you are going through believe me, try and view the cravings as part of the healing process that you body is going through. Take pride and enjoyment (?) out of the fact that you can beat the craves and that you are in control of your life not anyone or anything else. Keep at it and the craves will go, it's a caseof mind over matter. finding this very tough!

Hi, we can all sympathise with what you are going through. What I have found helps is to keep a positive attitude no matter how hard it gets, try and look on the cravings etc. as a good thing in that your body is recovering from being poisoned for how ever many years. Be determined to win over and be very proud of yourself when you do. I don't know about you but I spent over an hour a day actually smoking plus whatever else preparing for it, that is a lot of time to find sdomething to do with. It really helps if you can keep yourself busy because 1. it occupies your time and 2. you feel good about what ever it is you have achieved. Good luck and don't forget - who is it that controls your life? It's you of course. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 14 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 170 Amount Saved: 35 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 13 Mins: 55 Seconds: 56
