Well I agree - sort of. What gets me is that here cigs are heavilly taxed (I assume they are everywhere) and each year the government puts higher taxes on (just above the rate of inflation), claiming that it is to deter people from smoking. Well I think that is balony, the amount they put on is not sufficient to deter us (them now!) it just raises more taxes.
If they really wanted to stop smoking for good, they would tax them out of existence but they know they can't because they need the revenue. But being politicians they can't tell us the truth.
Thanks Kiwi, I have also got that off my chest. ;)

Hi Pete and welcome. There is a saying you know 'some people think that they can and some people think that they can't - and they are both right' it was by Henry Ford and I think it is spot on!
Good luck this time around.

Yes it is a stupid idea! firstly what is there to be gained from smoking again, the answer is nothing but being smelly and unhealthy. Secondly you will have to go through it all over again at some point.
To have gone 228 days is a monumental achievement, you would kick yourself forever if you cracked up now.
DO NOT DO IT!!

Wow, this is a huge lesson to us all, it just goes to show that we can never be off guard when such an eminent and well respected member is 'caught out'.
