Calling all February '06 Quitters!!!!

Hey Quit4, you are not doing this alone that is what we are all on this site for so that we can do it together. I too had quite a bad morning but a better afternoon. It is evening here and I have got through the day (I will make sure of that). What keeps me going sometimes is this site and the great folk on it and that includes you. If you keep at it so will I and so will everyone else. We all know how hard it is but if we do it together we can succeed together. There is a famous old song in the UK thazt is trawled out at times of togetherness e.g soccer games 'you'll never walk alone' - remember it well. Good luck, you will win over - you must believe in it ;p ;p

Monsters under the bed...................

Great thoughts Brent, it is just this sort of thing that keeps me going at this early stage in my quit when it is easy to focus on all the negatives such as withdrawal symptoms. Impressed with your stats - congrats and I hope to be joining you but alas not so soon though! Have a laugh on me !!

Hi All, I joined a gym just before christmas in advance of quitting as I have relapsed previously due to weight gain. By now I consider myself to be fairly fit so on Saturday I decided to go to an aerobics class for the first time. I am obviously not as fit as I thought because my calfs have been killing me ever since. So now life is great - I can't smoke and also I can hardly walk!! The only good thing is that I do not have any cigs and even if I did have any I can't walk anywhere to smoke them. Looks like I have to stay quit for at least another day or two  My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 8 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 98 Amount Saved: 20 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 11 Mins: 39 Seconds: 59

NRT is doing my head in

Hey Up!! rant as much as you like it will probably help you. I would recommend joining a gym, I did and I try to go nearly every day at present as it kills about 2 hours all in all, and you dont think of craves most of the time. You don't have to exercise every time, some days I just go for the sauna, jacuzzi etc. It has really helped me in this early stage of my quit. Good luck chuck!
