Okay. Yesterday, I was good. B- Coffee S- Cottage cheese w/cucumbers, peanuts L- Left over taco salad S- nothing....... D- Baked fish, 1/2 plate full of grilled veggies, sauteed mushrooms, 1 cornbread muffin, and 1/2 orange. I did have dessert. A BIG scoop of Black Cherry frozen yogurt. I absolutely love that stuff.... Didn't get to walk. Spent from 2:30-6:00 helping my 7yr old finish her report. Then off to fix dinner, then bathe the kids, and get them to sleep............ Maybe I could just use my greasy cheeseburger as a reward, some of the time. That way I am not banning it from my diet, but allowing myself to have one, on occasion. I am trying to eat a little more often. That is my big problem. I binge. I need to stop that. Now. Thanks. Okay, I have purposely stayed away from this thread for a few days. I have been horrible!!! I have eaten a lot of fast food lately. But it is time to get back on track. Today: B- Coffee That's it, since it's only 9:37am here. I will eat some Cottage Cheese with cucumbers and some peanuts in a little bit though. I need to make a promise to be accoutable with what I choose to eat. I have a fridge full of fruits and veggies, a cabinet full of of snacks. But I get to the point that I just want a plain old greasy hamburger with fries. How do you get over the idea of thinking about all these unhealthy foods?? Maybe it is because I let myself go toooooooo long without eating. Then I am starving, irratible, and want to gorge on anything and everything!! Hi Rusty, Thanks so much for the offer! I really appreciate it:) I think I have found some of the R/OO triscuits at a neighborhood store. They are so good. I also noticed today that they now also have Garlic Triscuits, haven't tried those yet:) Everyone, I have a question... sometimes after I eat I feel sooooo bloated. I mean my tummy is like a watermelon sometimes. Well, its not that big, but it sure is bloated lol Last night for dinner, I had a big salad that I used to eat before my Quit. Never did I feel bloated after eating this meal before my Quit. But I sure did last night... And I've really never felt this kind of bloated feeling before come to think of it. When this happens it goes away in a couple of hrs. But sometimes I really feel so bloated, and it's always after dinner... of course that's my biggest meal (?) It doesnt happen every day, but it happens. I am drinking quite a bit of water (not 8 glasses though) - I usually walk the mall at least 6 times a week. So tonight when I had dinner, I kept a pulse on how my tummy was feeling, I stopped before it got to that bloated feeling. I am wondering if I have really been stuffing myself even after I am full, and didn't even realize it till now. How strange is that, but I have had so many 'awakenings' with this Quit, nothing would surprise me:) Is it possible that I have been pouring the food in (before my Quit) waaaay after I am full - and I am just noticing it now? Ya know, I think I may have just figured this out by processing this here: I have never been more aware of my body! Never... Now I'm aware of how my skin feels, how my heart is strong and quiet (my blood pressure is back to normal and my doc took me off BP meds:), my hair feels different, etc etc... hmmmm Anyone have any thoughts or had this experience? today - walked the mall - really good workout it was:) b-1/2 small cantelope, water s-green grapes l-hamburger, green grapes, water s-green grapes, water d-salmon grilled, 1/2 cup green beans, piece of ciabatta roll w/dab SB, 1/2 baked tater, lt sr crm, peach iced tea s-will be small apple or grn grapes Hummy - prayers and Light your way... Blessings everyone!! Healer My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2006 Smoke-Free Day
