Hi ya Lady! Havent been swallowed up, but this is my first day on site for awhile. After the tooth incident last week (they had to pull it because of a cracked root long story), my husband, son, and I all came down with the stomach bug from h___ this week. Ive truly never been so sick. Mothers Day was great, but everything else for the past 2 weeks has been less than thrilling. I lost 5 lbs. this week, but wouldnt recommend the method. :p Today (first day back on normal diet) b- cottage cheese/flax, toast/olive oil lunch and dinner will be something really bland like grilled cheese sandwiches and chicken noodle soup Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi 4my2girls, I buy whole flax seed and grind it in a small coffee grinder. When I list cottage cheese/flax, Im using about teaspoon of ground flax and teaspoon of flax seed oil. (keep both refrigerated) Go to the Worlds Healthiest Foods site to find out the myriad benefits. The site also includes recipes using flax. My doc recommended them.

Lady, I can hear your enthusiasm. Completing a huge goal like that is so wonderful. Rusty, My daughter and I are now addicted to the Naked smoothies. Now, if I can just keep him from overdoing for 3 months. b- cottage cheese/flax, toast/olive oil l - ham, potato salad, macaroni and cheese, green salad, fruit salad, corn, yeast roll (family dinner, but I really just ate a small portion of everything) d hamburger patty and green salad No exercise today but walked yesterday and worked in the yard for several hours.

Hi Ladies, Thanks for all the prayers and kind thoughts! My son did not have to have his spleen removed. He is now out of the hospital and just has to take it easy for about 3 months. (Not terribly thrilled about missing out on summer sports, but I believe he can handle it.) I've been eating lightly, but the only exercise I've had has been with the physical therapist. Will get back in the swing again soon. Have a great weekend. :)

Rusty, the water aerobics sounds great! b - cottage cheese s dried sliced apples, pecans/almonds l cup mac and cheese, 1 cup chicken and dumplings, green beans s bottle Naked fruit smoothie d going to Vietnamese restaurant for yellow pancakes No exercise today. Spent afternoon at eye docs and late afternoon going to pick up my daughters car (was in shop). Limited sleep last night will mean Ill bomb out early tonight. Guess Ill have to make up for it this weekend.

b- cottage cheese/flax, toast/olive oil l- Tuscan chicken sandwich, apple s- strawberry/banana smoothie d- sleep s- LATE night snack piece of chicken, yogurt with fruit Exercise: Traipsing back and forth around a pond. Went to a rubber duck race for charity this afternoon 1500 rubber ducks being raced across a pond with fire hoses. We didnt win the first prize mini cooper, but my daughter got some great shots for her photography class. Tip: My mom and I have been eating ground flax seed everyday for months. We also eat teaspoon of cinnamon everyday. Both have been sited as helping with lowering cholesterol. I havent had my cholesterol checked, but hers dropped dramatically. Her LDL was down and HDL was up. Shes quite pleased her doctor is, too. Everyone have a great week. :)
