What's Your Opinion?

I am also an NHS tax payer and do not agree that a doctor should withhold treatment. What about sportspeople who break a leg or racing drivers who have a crash?? I am a quitter and intend to stay that way but I will not condemn those who cannot stop at this point in time to no medical help when they need it. Anyway, the amount of tax they pay far outweighs the demands they ( and recently us!!) put on the system. What is this trembling???

Notkool, you've gone 4 days well done! that is a great achievement. Try and focus on the positive things - you smell great, you don't wheeze any more, your breath smells fresh. Enjoy the craves because they are the price we pay for feeling great. Calling all February '06 Quitters!!!!

Dianne, welcome to the group and well done on getting through your first dsy. Dunno whats happening about the name but the wider SSC community seem to be eager for us to get our fingers out and decide something. I think that there is more pressure on the name than there is on the quit :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 92 Amount Saved: 17.5 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 9 Mins: 30 Seconds: 9

The Testament of Wills

Well done Funk on resisting. I still get the craves quite a lot but I get a big kick on beating them, a much bigger kick than I would get from a stinky old cancer stick. All I can say is bring it on you craves - you are de-feet-ed OK. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 7 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 92 Amount Saved: 17.5 Life Gained: Days: 1 Hrs: 9 Mins: 33 Seconds: 14
