SH smoke can trigger a new series of withdrawal symptoms?

Hi Messa.......Congrats on your decision not to smoke anymore. You might want to keep contact with smokers at a minimum in the beginning;that is, keep yourself away from temptation until you are stronger in your quit. Am going crazy trying to figure out where RO might be. Frankly, I have no clue......somewhere in Africa~lol? I have two methods for dealing with quit problems that never fail me: 1. go for a walk. 2. go shopping Stay close....read and post....let us know how you are doing and how we can help! Hi

Hi Flangie, congrats and keep up the good quit. Do you know how to turn on the quit meter? Originally, I joined this site for that feature. It's fun and rewarding to watch the numbers....all of them. Now I am hooked. Your chances of success improve when you stay close....read and post! Staying quit but missing the camaraderie...

N2K, hey you, glad you are back.....sort of wondered if we'd lost you to the nicodemon in the sense that you are such a part of the camaraderie and hadn't seen a post for a few days. Still doing the healthy, smoke free march tru life. This site and people like you are the only thing that make it fun some days. Uh, and breathing...yep, always enjoy that! I had an urge today

I know that, Lady, just a bit of idle finger-wagging... A rare opportunity with you and so I made mention. We all have our moments, n'est pas? Don't know why I decided to drag out a French phrase just now...can only hope it's accurate or that there are no French speaking people who wish to correct me (fat chance)lol. You go girl, Janet :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 7/23/2005 Smoke-Free Days: 176 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 3,520 Amount Saved: $880 Life Gained: Days: 23 Hrs: 5 Mins: 6 Seconds: 17

Anti-Smoking Ordinances...What's your opinion?

Rusty, we already are the nic nazis.....you can't smoke at the beach where I live. I don't like it' but, if we are going to be nazis about something, tobacco is not a bad choice. I like the idea that kids will no longer find smoking to be "cool". We have certainly seen some big changes in our lifetime, huh. Still smoke free!!!

Congrats on keeping your quit but be careful.....in the end, it is the long haul that matters most. A new quit is like a newborn (somebody said, Rusty?).....be very gentle and protective.
