You are so right about the Carr book, Brent. I found it somewhere here online. And reading it gave me the nudge. Yes, his approach to smokers was huge in my decision to quit. Did he say 20 cigarettes, 200 hits a day to keep addiction under control.....whew, that's serious.
Stay strong and stay close. Takes awhile to get a grip on junkie thinking. NOPE,
Janet

I read your post and remembered having the exact same feeling at 65 days. The crave for just one, the curiosity about am I over it, whatever, made me so nervous that I would lose it. I decided to go for help. Went to my M.D. and got a perscription for wellbutrin. I took it for a month and by that time was very secure in my quit again so never got a refill.
If the junkie thinking persists, go get some help. Also, what are you doing to reward yourself? (an important part of rhe process).Perhaps you need to go shopping.........
You are doing great. Stay strong. Don't smoke.

Hi Janet....this is Janet, not to be negative, but, at two weeks, you are not out of the woods yet. If only...However, it's a great start and the best decision....just be aware the nicodemon, that sneaky little dickens will be around from time to time trying to woo you back. Kick is ash.

I actually heard there are aliens sent down by the tobacco industry's mother ship to trick us. There could be some right here on the site. (Do I need to insert a disclaimer here).lol. I, too, can smell smoke from passing cars....so stinky, and from houses when I walk.
The most interesting bit of smoking news is this person who had a face transplant is SMOKING. Hello.... What is that??
Have a great smoke free day you all!
