My doctor recommended the Laser therapy over Chatix. Since others here at work had success with the drug we went that way instead.
Just about to finish Chantix, if I get heavy cravings I am off to the laser gun!!

Seamus, first 3 days is the hardest. Not everyone quits first shot.
I am on my 4th attempt and has been my longest run so far.
These are some of the things I did before I quit this last go around, they helped me a lot, might work for you too:
Stop smoking in your vehicle.
Smoke only one spot outside - Go only there to smoke.
Hold off on your first smoke in the morning as long as possible
Don't smoke after you eat a meal, wait as long as possible
Try not and smoke when drinking.
Don't finish cigarette, smoke 1/2.
Smoke only on even hours
Smoke different brand less tar
Break up any smoking routine

Sorry you are feeling depressed today Kathleen. I'm sure you will feel better tomorrow.
You are a non-smoker, there is no reason for you to smoke. It would just make you sick at this point anyway.
Maybe you can call a friend and go out for a while?

Hey Cowboy you've already got quite a few days under your belt you just need a refresher of WHY you quit.
If you made a list you should review it, if not you can look at the reasons that others here have posted.
You can also search the web to see what mouth cancer looks like.
It's not too attractive.
You got it licked Cowboy, keep up the good work!
