maybe it is just that before I used to cough so often I didn't notice it. Now when it happens I am like, what's wrong???

Hey Jeni,
Sorry you are having some difficulties today. Just remember they are only temporary.
Shame on what you said about the lung cancer. It is a slow and agonizing way to go and who would help take care of your children!
The mean streaks come and go. I am still in witdrawal so I posted this photo of our cat Teddy with attitude. The expression is how I feel sometimes. Good news is that it is short lived and gets better every day. :)
A comedian once said you can use these terms and get away with just about anything.
Ether begin with "With all due respect,..."
Or end with "Now I don't mean that in a bad way."
And you can combine them for even more fun.
Example:
With all due respect, that cigarette smoke on you really smells like crap!
Or how about. Those yellow teeth make you look like a sicko, now I don't mean that in a bad way!
With all due respect, cigarette companies should be shut down because they are nothing more then incorporated drug pushers, now I don't mean that in a bad way....
;)
Feeling better! Enjoy the meanstreak, YOURE ALIVE!!

There ya go! I didn't empty our ashtrays. I went out there with a trash bag and threw them out together, ashtray, buts, ashes and all.
Yuk!
At my work I park at the same place ever day.
There has been one of my cigi buts on the ground right where I would get in the drivers door. I looked at it every day as I got in and out of my car.
Every day it was more and more frayed, just like my addiction.

Well, my Dr told me to start my workout routine at least 1 month BEFORE I quit smoking.
I am not much for following directions.
As far as making healty food choices I found out that Strawberry shortcake, just because it has fruit, dairy and grain isn't one of those choices I should make :)
Ooooh but it is Sooooo Good!
So, I am about ready to call a Mayday signal, my weight is getting way over. Just took the workout to the next level. Now at 234 lbs that 10 more since I quit and about 50 more than I should be.
Goal is 184 (I am 5' 10")
I will not cross that 235 threshold for any reason! Going to try and start winding calorie count back slowly unil I get to abt 2000 calories a day and start seeing weighloss.
Current regiment
Bowflex 4 times a week morning
Walk 20 Minutes 10 AM daily
Aerobics (low impact) 3 times a week at noon
Ping-Pong 3 games at 3 PM M-F
Current Weight 234 on 7/17/07
Lets see how long it takes to get it down, not that I am in a hurry but do need to get below 220 quickly or I wont have any pants to wear to work!

yep, that is what I have heard. If you try to drop calorie intake to drastically your system will go into a type of shock and will have a more difficult time in loosing the weight.
It is amazing that this part of the board gets the least activity where weight gain is more of a concern than smoking, at least it is with my doctor.
I should clarify, he wants me to be like 170 LBS and a NON-Smoker.
Oh and my wife wants me to look like Jon BonJovi.
:confuse:
