Has anyone seen my cravings?

Not that I have really looked that hard but last week 3 days in a row I was grouchy and had cravings. Last two days, nothing, N O T H I N G! Not a one! Suppose it is kinda wrong to say it.,,.. but I think I kinda miss the lil scruffy craving fella. I think of all the newbies about to quit, those going through hell week. Oh and the frustration and anger!! Reflecting back on it now, in some sort of sicko way, I think I rather enjoyed it! This message board actually made quitting rather fun :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 75 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,875 Amount Saved: $262.50 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 15 Mins: 39 Seconds: 30

Has anyone seen my cravings?

Thanks for the heads up Lamp! Guess the cops will be responding there which is good so they don't pull Sue over. Just got off the phone with her, apparently she is experiencing a little Road Rage. (Guess she found scruffy). Well I think we will have to get her a glass of white Zinfandel STAT. :p My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 75 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,875 Amount Saved: $262.50 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 15 Mins: 41 Seconds: 34

Starting Aerobics this week

Thanks Danielle and Unhooked. :) Sue, you know I would break it off with Angelina Jolie all over again just to re-marry you. You should also be proud of me because today in the cafeteria choice entre's were patty melt, or Fried Chicken. So I skipped over to the salad bar and opted for the beef stew and a spinach salad with vinegar and olive oil dressing and an Unsweetened iced tea. ;) They also had Strawberry Shortcake, MY FAVORITE FOOD IN THE WORLD, my choice, do I want the strawberry shortcake and 30 minutes on the stairmaster or should I simply pass. I took the pass, and today I should come in well below 2500 calories. I never realized how unhealthy Fried chicken with Strawberry shortcake could be until I looked up the specs. Bonus was that today I spent 25 minutes on the Bowflex and a 20 minute brisk walk in the Carolina heat. I lost 2 lbs already (1st day), attitude and my concentration has increased. According to calorie-count my weight goal to be at 185 will happen by March. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 76 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,900 Amount Saved: $266.00 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 18 Mins: 41 Seconds: 16

Hi

Welcome aboard Kiki. Yeah a lot of really cool people. My wife Susan and I quit a while ago and also used Chantix. We are both now off of the Chantix and the cigarettes. Don't skip the steps like writing the list of reasons you want to quit etc. Follow the plan and its a walk in the park! saying goodbye

Bye Lynn! Huh, strange feeling when someone leaves. It kinda like when you were a smoker and a co-worker tells you he quit. What is quitting like? ...Really?

Good thread Lamp, Kinda in a rush here but would like to say quitting smoking is like driving in Manhattan. A little bit of anxiety, a little road rage, and a little bit of fascination. <--- the new kitty, to represent my new persona My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 77 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,925 Amount Saved: $269.50 Life Gained: Days: 11 Hrs: 21 Mins: 54 Seconds: 4
