Atta boy! Still the shining example, you are. I'll be back Monday to check for your posts (if there should be any) and to give a report of my own. I'm proud of you, man. Harley

Matt, on Monday, I'll be here come hell or high water...and I'll be going into my 3rd day...that sounds promising and not so far away. I'll see you then. Harley

Matt, hang in there, man! I've read all your posts, and am proud of you making it this far. I failed my 1st day. I came back to this board, and found that you'd gone this far, and I've been cheering you on (in my head). I like what oinkoink2u and other's have said about it being a healing process, and there's not a darned thing wrong with getting better. Sometimes healing hurts, but it's healing nonetheless. I may not have much room to talk, seeing my new quit date is set for tomorrow, but I just want you to know that you've set a good example for me and I'll be passing that example onto my husband. HOLD FAST, MATT! Harley

OK.. one last "funny" thing.. Anyone forget to let your pet outside when you quit?? My dog always came outside with me on my breaks.. so I just realized now at 2pm that he hasn't been outside since last night!! JEEZ my poor dog! I guess I'll have to start remembering to let him out more often. OK.. everyone have a great weekend (lets all be here Monday with success stories!!!!) I made it through without smoking.. I think taking a drive is a really effective way to make it through the stronger cravings.. I feel good now. Hi Matt, there are many good resons for no having even 1 and one of them is that if you do you are going to have to go through the last 3 days all over again - just think about it. I know what you are going through believe me, try and view the cravings as part of the healing process that you body is going through. Take pride and enjoyment (?) out of the fact that you can beat the craves and that you are in control of your life not anyone or anything else. Keep at it and the craves will go, it's a caseof mind over matter.
