You can do it Sheila! For me, running is more mental than physical. Once you get it in your head that you can do it, you will. Since I've quit I have worked out for double my usual workout, and have tried to run a few miles a day (slowly at first). Today I just wanted to see if I could do it and I pushed myself. I wouldn't suggest trying to run a lot if you are not a big exerciser though, cause you might hurt yourself :-). As a smoker I did work out regularly, even though it wasn't a very vigorous workout (like riding stationary bike-slow). Good luck though, I highly recommend running as a workout- the endorphin rush is great!
