try my best

Welcome Spark and congrats on having a go at quitting again, I know it takes a lot of guts to start off in the first place. You have a couple of weeks until your quit date and I would recommend having a good look around at the various postings here as some are very inspiring and you can get some really good tips on how to prepare etc. I think that one of the keys to success is to really get the mind in gear so that you are 110% determined to get through it and also to have a plan of how to cope with the enevitable withdrawl symptoms. :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 17 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 206 Amount Saved: 42.5 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 3 Mins: 3 Seconds: 30

Hi and welcome, keep close to this site - we are all in the same boat together and it helps to 'chat' to other quitters or even just read some of the posts. Suffice to say that you can search yourself for any further information if you need it. My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 17 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 207 Amount Saved: 42.5 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 3 Mins: 39 Seconds: 42

Who we really are...

Phew! that is certainly something to think about! I think that in many things it takes a special event for us to 'see the light'. Thanks for sharing, it is definitely N.O.P.E. from now on. :8|: My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 17 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 208 Amount Saved: 42.5 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 4 Mins: 6 Seconds: 54

Treadmills, Are They Good Or Evil?

Well done Rosie!! we have all been waiting with baited breath to find out if 'she did or she didn't' get one. Keep at it, you will be surprised at how soon your fitness will improve. A tip, when the going gets too tough walk for a while (i.e. take a breather) then run again for a while, then walk and so on. This is called interval training and is very effective at burning calories. Be Quit - Keep Fit :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 2/6/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 16 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 201 Amount Saved: 40 Life Gained: Days: 3 Hrs: 1 Mins: 15 Seconds: 43
