Hi Chick, I found weeks 1 and 2 hard but am finding it a little easier this week. I am not saying it is eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeasy, just a little bit better. I have read lots of posts thet testify to it getting better over time and I think that is true. I stopped for 9 months a long time ago so I know it does get easier and before you ask I started again thru weight rather than craves. What gets me thru at the moment is staying positive, thinking about how good I will feel to have beat the crave and thinking that if I give in I have to go thru the last 17 days again.
Hang on in there, it does get easier - honstly.
:)

Great going Phillip, don't look on the symptoms as bad things but rather than a recovery process and therfore, in a strange kinda way, these are feelings that should be welcomed. :8o:
Keep at it my friend, we can kick this habit together.

Hi Goldie, glad to hear that you have got yourself a bike. In order to burn fat you need to make sure that you are working hard enough (but not too hard!), this means working in what is known as 'The Training Zone'. This is a percentage of your maximum heart rate which is based on your age. The calculation for max heart rate is 220 less your age ( so if 40 then = 180), you should train at 60-80% of this to burn fat effectively.
:)
