WANTED: None Smoking Lady with courage and...

ROFL!!!! I think if you feel you are ready then go for it. And if I had to seek another partner ... I agree ... they would have to be a non-smoker. Is my smug disease showing? heh! Chain Smoking and Hacking A Lung Up

LOL! ;p I am still having a hard time breathing all the way in. The cough is kinda there ... like an annoyance. It is not a hard cough. It is weird. And there is a little bit of pain in the middle of my chest, above my breasts. It is nothing horrible ... but I can feel an uncomfortable feeling. I am almost possitive it is because I quit. I will probably make a doc appt just to check it out. Worried about my job

HealerWithin recommended Melatonin for sleeping. I bought 3mg/30 tablet with quick release system ... they work great and do not give am a medicine hangover the next morning. I agree with Lady about talking to your Boss if you are concerned about your job. Open, honest communication is the key to so much in life I think. You asked what other did during their first 3 weeks. I read and posted on here a lot, I still do ... it is a source of what to expect and I like that. I chewed a lot of gum ... now I don't hardly chew any. I did a lot of inspirational reading. I am a positive person, but when I am down ... just like everyone else ... we think negative ... so when I was down ... motivational reading here I come. I took a lot of showers. I went to the gym. I went to bed early. I stayed away from social situations and from smoking. Anything that made me want to smoke ... I left. I have a month now. I feel like I have been a non-smoker for much more time than that already. Now I have other issues to deal with ... non-smoker issues ... it is a beautiful thing. Need help

You will be able to enjoy a drink again ... just make sure you are ready. I drank this last weekend and it was probably the biggest temptation I had since hell week. I'm glad my hubby and friends were with me. They gave me added strength. If anything could make me loose my quit ... it would be alcohol ... it drops inhibitions. I blew it but I'm back again

Well if you are ready to quit ... you have to take that negative self talk and throw it out the door! WE WILL THROW THESE PARTS OF YOUR OPENING POST AWAY:

This is really hard.
New start tomorrow morning, don't know if I can do this.
Sometimes I think I can then other times I don't think so.
I feel like such a loser........
HERE IS YOUR OPENING POST REVISED: Hi everyone, Junebug here. I'm back for my third try. Quit twice and screwed up both times and started up again. Tired of wheezing and not being able to breathe.........any help would be appreciated!! NOW LET'S ADD THIS: I am going to succeed this time ... I just know it. I have learned from my past experiences and will use what I have learned for my benefit in this Quit. Now ... here is a little something that may help you:
Overcoming the Fear of Failure Fear of failure is one of the greatest fears people have. Fear of failure is closely related to fear of criticism and fear of rejection. Successful people overcome their fear of failure. Fear incapacitates unsuccessful people. The Law of Feedback states: there is no failure; there is only feedback. Successful people look at mistakes as outcomes or results, not as failure. Unsuccessful people look at mistakes as permanent and personal. Buckminster Fuller wrote, "Whatever humans have learned had to be learned as a consequence only of trial and error experience. Humans have learned only through mistakes." Most people self-limit themselves. Most people do not achieve a fraction of what they are capable of achieving because they are afraid to trybecause they are afraid they will fail. Take these steps to overcome your fear of failure and move yourself forward to getting the result you desire: Step One: Take action. Bold, decisive action. Do something scary. Fear of failure immobilizes you. To overcome this fear, you must act. When you act, act boldly. Action gives you the power to change the circumstances or the situation. You must overcome the inertia by doing something. Dr. Robert Schuller asks, "What would you do if you knew you could not fail?" What could you achieve? Be brave and just do it. If it doesnt work o
