Hey Rylan,
Who knows why now. We are all different and for whatever reason things hit us all at different times. Im on day 30 and I still get some days that are easier than others. The weekends are very hard for me. I think it's because im not as busy as I am the rest of the week. Try to stay busy or take a nap. Drink lots of water.
If my little one would take a nap I would take one also because it always seems like after a little nap the cravings are alot less.
Take Care

This is so interesting for me to read. We had Chinese for dinner last night. I had leftover for lunch today and Im about crawling out of my skin this afternoon. I have anxity and everything. I thought it was just because it was the weekend and im not as busy but after I read Eve's post now im starting to wonder.
I will defantly pay more attention to what I eat if that is really what is making it happen. My gosh what would I ever do without SSC.
Thanks for your post Eve

Shelly,
Im so excited for you. I hope to get a car for my 6 month reward. Im laughing at Coban because after I read your post I also yelled at my hubby to come and read. I got a kiss that said "Im very proud of you also BUT im not buying you a new car" Then we just laughed.
I found your ford focus just the wrong color. Enjoy your new ride.

Hi joonie,
I have also been dealing with the same issues as yourself. I know it is very frustrating for yourself and for your hubby. I keep telling myself and my hubby it will get better and It is with time. I have asked my hubby to get me threw these times by.
1. giving me space when I need it.
2. allow me to vent and try not to take it personal.
3. start to reward yourself even if its somthing small and cheap.
4. post and vent here. (Thats what I do :))
5. Most important!! Allow yourself to cry when needed and get alot of rest. I have slept more in the last month than I ever have. Your body is healing and needs alot of rest and water.
Hope this helps, Keep the quit, Your doing great

I am one month into my quit and I would like to post what my first month was like. I would like all of you to post where you are at and where this journey has taken you.
When I quit smoking 31 days ago, I did not plan or prepare for my quit. (not what I would recommend) I had thought about it and knew it was something I wanted to do but it was just never the right time. I didn't even tell my hubby till I was quit for 24 hours. To say the least he was a bit shocked and didn't think I was serious.
The first week was very rough on me and my family. I slept a lot and still do. When I was on day 8, I was going crazy or so I felt and that is when I found the SSC site. I joined and posted my first post. I believe I named my first post "Day 8 and going INSAINE". I was amazed how people came to rescue and give me support and advice.
The next 2 weeks the cravings weren't so bad but my temper was out of control. I snapped at the smallest things. I was frustrated, mad, upset all the time or so it seemed. I posted and all my new friends here gave me some great advice on how to deal, how to communicate. How we must continue to say were sorry to our loved ones for all that we are putting them threw.
As I came up on my 4 weeks of being quit. I am finally starting to be able to breath better. My temper is starting to get a little longer. I am learning to talk to my hubby about how I feel and what this addiction has done to me. I started smoking when I was 12 years old. I never knew how to handle stress with out good old nicotine.
My first month has been an adventure, a roller coaster and a ticket to freedom. I have made it threw the hardest time in my quit and there is no looking back now.
