I Gained A Day To My Life Line

Im so exited I have made it my first 2 weeks and I have gained a day on life meter. The past few days have gotten alot better for me. My cravings are slim to none and the crying attacks are starting to minimize. I don't seem to be as short with my temper but it isn't 100% yet. Wednesday nights are my hardest nights since that is bowling night. We all know what your suppose to do when your bowling. Have a beer and smoke right. Well I had a beer and it didn't taste nearly as good as they use to when I smoked so after I choked that down I didn't want any more. For the past 10 days I have also started to walk a mile a day and I found a 10 minute work out tape that is just great. I have never worked out in my life but now that im not so short of breath its starting to be enjoyable and makes me feel so much better. I haven't posted much lately but I sure have gotten so many great Idea's and Inspiration from this site. Im so glad I found the site and all the great people that open there hearts and life to everyone else. Im so excited to have made it 2 weeks and can't wait to post my next mile stone. Fell down

hey hiljump, Don't give up. Im still new in my quit and I know how hard it is. You need to pull yourself together and get back up on that horse. Just cause you had a slip doesn't mean you give up. Try some deep breathing or take a walk. Taking a nap really works well for me. Keep close SSC and everyone here will help you threw those hard days. So Im just curiouse on some things. I have heard things about the "knights", "Ash Kickers", "6-12 Club III" ect. those are just a few I can remember. How did these groups get there names and who is in these groups. I have figured out that going to beach is at your 100 quit day. "I think". Is there some place that lays all these things out? I feel so left out at times. :) Thanks for the info. I'm greatful for today.

Hey DD, I say that everyday. Im glad the day is over. The first 3 days I slept ALOT. Instead of trying to deal with my cravings I took a nap to turn my brain off. It worked great. I'm still taking naps when I can to help me threw my day. Keep up the great work. Thanks so much Carole. I had kinda figured most of that out but thought It would be easier if I just asked instead assuming. I have read so much about you the past couple of days and even saw your 60's picture. I wasn't here in the 60's but came in the early 70's. Have a great party and a great day. 1 year is HUGE and hope that my year fly's by so I can join the VIP club. The smoke-free "Night Owls" are here!

Well it looks like I missed ya now. I tried to go to bed but then I just got all emotional and cryed so I figured I would just get back up. Its been a few days since I have had this feeling. Guess I was due. If the crying fits and the short temperness would go away I would have it made. Hey joyful are you in CO?? We should have a get together in Albuquerque in Oct. during balloon fiesta. This year its Oct. 6 - 15. I live right next to the park. The balloons land in my back yard. Its truely grand.
