I'm still alive as well

Thanks Redrosie, you always know how to make one feel better, and you always find the right words without over analyzing every single emotion people go thru. It just feels good to vent once in a while instead of keeping it all bottled in. And even though we do know all the facts and pitfalls, what do and what not do, how to deal with cravings, this is where we can come to and can share what we go thru. Though I don't know about those bigger clothes hon. I am afraid that I'll be to comfortable in them, and never set step on a treadmill again. Thanks again, Redrosie, will head over to Ash Kickers. Ash Kickers, Come Strut Your Stuff!!!!

I am looking at all of your stats, how much money you have saved, and where you all are from. Gee, cigarettes are cheap in same of these parts. Check it out: I quit 68 days ago, haven't smoked 1,373 cigs, and have saved $527. Now let's compare it to Sunshine: Sunshine hasnt' smoked about the same amount of cigarettes, but has saved $269.50, so roughly half what I have saved. Just amazing. Well, just a little observation to keep my brain busy. Am going to bed now, Night all. I'm still alive as well

Hello Everyone, I'm still alive and smoke free as well. Life is very hectic right now, kids, work, and school. You know how it is! Have been having major urges the past 1 1/2 weeks. Much worse than in the beginning! I am totally stressed out, and really fighting hard. May be has to do with weight gain, I am very unhappy about this, and start feeling like a ballon. And yes, I watch what I eat (signed up with WW online, and follow their point system), I exercise, plus live in NYC where walking is a given. Don't want to give in to the nico demon, but I have feel like I have reached a breaking point in my quit. Feel like crying because I long for a cigarette. May be I was to arrogant about my quit, because it wasn't as bad as I had expected in the beginning. I guess they are right when they say every quit is different. Best to you all, Gaby My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 68 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 1,371 Amount Saved: $527 Life Gained: Days: 6 Hrs: 0 Mins: 59 Seconds: 47

AM I LOSING MY MIND????

Hi, Hang in there, it will pass soon. I quit 28 days ago, and you have to believe me when I tell you that I feel so much better already, because: No nicotine hangover in the morning, no chest tightness, no headaches, sinus is clearing up thus my sense of smell is returning, my taste buds are kicking in, I don't smell like an ashtray anymore, instead I finally smell like Coco de Channel only, and not a disgusting mix of both, I have saved a substantial amount of money already, I can finally run again without coughing up God-knows-what. The pain you are experiencing right now is nothing compared to the pain smoking related illnesses cause. And unlike those illnesses withdrawal symptoms don't kill and will go away eventually. Also, don't you want to go to the beach? I know I do! Like I said, hang in there, please, Gaby My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 28 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 570 Amount Saved: $217 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 12 Mins: 18 Seconds: 48

YELLING AT MY KIDS !!!

And I have noticed that the yelling doesn't get interrupted by this horrible cough anymore. I guess the kiddos just got to learn how to deal with our newfound "powers." :eg: Gaby My Milage: My Quit Date: 1/17/2006 Smoke-Free Days: 28 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 570 Amount Saved: $217 Life Gained: Days: 2 Hrs: 12 Mins: 19 Seconds: 27
