Hey guys...
To add to the louder voice, I noticed tonight when I was reading to my 5 year old that I could finish sentences without getting winded.
I used to have to read part of a long sentence and point to something on the page (take a breath) and continue. Tonight I was just reading away..
The last few years, I had really began to feel the difference in my breathing and how easily I was getting winded. I swear it is as if something has opened up my airways and I can breath for the first time in many years.
It feels like a miracle .. and I really am thankful that my breathing is returning to normal.. (I was afraid it might not.. you know that fear that you have just waited too long to quit ?)
I joke around a lot but, the truth is I am just so happy to get another chance at being healthy.. and put away the guilt of smoking (my youngest son has COPD)even near the same place as my son.
What is there not to be happy about.. ???
I just thank God and thank you all for being here..
Couldn't have done it without you.. I truly believe that.
Hang Tuff Guys.. we are going to lick this yet !
Christine
