Thank you, Willis! You are coming up on a year pretty soon. How does that feel, with 9321 not smoked? That must be amazing! Thanks again! DeniseK

6 Complete days with ZERO nicotine :~)

Thanks to everyone who posted, and Josie, I have been doing all those things, I just can't sleep yet. I think the detox is keeping me awake, but I'm sure this too shall pass. Some days are easier than others, that's for sure.

6 Complete days with ZERO nicotine :~)

Thanks to all who posted encouragement. I actually slept 5 hours today (I work night shift), yipee! Am having some strong cravings, but not one puff. Someone asked me tonight if I had smokes with me...I said No Way! If I had em, I'd be back to a pack a day! No No NO! One puff and I'd be back to a pack a day! So I'm watching my stats go up (it amazes me how many NOT smoked I have racked up already!) and trying to keep busy. Feeling rather blah but it's better than feeling like a chihuahua, which I was most of the week. All shivers and snarls...

Champix- absolutely amazing but completely sick HELP!!

Yes, please check with your doctor, they may be able to suggest something else that will help. Just so you know, I am also taking Chantix, and I also am experiencing some of the same symptoms, but it sounds like you are struck harder. I found that if I eat a small, real food meal and not just a snack before taking the pill and then follow up with a few saltine crackers about 10 minutes later, it seems to help decrease the nausea. I hope this helps you as well. :~) DeniseK

6 Complete days with ZERO nicotine :~)

Hi everyone, I am racking up the days. It's hard to believe it's already 10 days, and although some days are tougher/easier than others, it has gone by very fast. Maybe the mindset has something to do with it. Maybe this time I am actually done. I sure want to be..

Two weeks!

Hi all, I just thought I'd come crow a bit about my stats. I made it through both weeks without killing anyone, although I did threaten to bite someone the other day...

My reward, 7 eBooks, mysteries mostly out of print now, Miss Marple by Agatha Christie.  Very nice, no pages to rip, read anywhere on my i smart phone, lol

I don't know how I've made it, but so far so good. Any day without burning weed in your lungs has to be a good day, and I've stacked up 14 of them (well, it will be 14 days in 2 hours)!  Thanks for letting me jump and shout...
