Marching with 73 (really 72 until 1PM California time) days and I don't miss being out in the rain, and wind, and cold, sucking on that poison because I was addicted! Hooray! I also don't miss looking at the clock every 5 minutes wondering when I will have a smoke break when I'm either teaching or in class to learn!
I'm so sorry your mom passed, Sharon. However, for you, its even more important that you put emergency plans in place; things to do in an emergency instead of smoking. You can carry a printed list or put it in noted on your smart phone but have it handy at all times...and of course, use the things on it instead of smoking. Hang in there, you're doing great!

Just a note to say although I don't come round as much as I would like, I am still quit and going strong. It's amazing to me that I did quit. No one believed me when I said, yet again, I was going to do it this time...It really is about your mind set. I just finally decided I wanted to breathe air instead of polluted burning weeds...I just finally decided I didn't want to cart around an oxygen tank in my old age. I really just decided enough was enough. You can too. Just keep telling yourself NOPE: Not one puff, ever. It does work. It takes work, but it works.
