Alaka, every person's quit is unique, as are each of us. Don't worry if you don't have any symptoms, but put a plan in place just in case you do. It makes all the difference if a huge crave hits to have a well-formed and printed (carried at all times in your purse or pocket) instructions, believe me. And congratulations on your great stats! Hi Mikek, I am using Chantix and it seems to be working fairly well for me. It does upset your stomach if you don't eat something, and I mean a meal, not a snack, with the pill. The really great thing about Chantix is that you are off the nicotine entirely, no replacement. I like that whole idea of going nicotine free. I hope you do some research on different ways to quit because there are patches, gum, the inhaled thingy, and medications, so the choices are numerous. Find one you like and stick to it. Fight for your life and it will be worth it. DeniseK
Hi Briana, be sure you follow the directions for your particular patch and from your doctor, ok? That being said, congratulations for coming and posting here. I have found that doing some low impact exercise that gets my heart going is really good for the craves, it takes my mind off of it and when I'm breathless from exertion I can be very proud that it's not from smoking anymore! If you don't have anything much to do on Tuesdays, I would recommend a couple of things. First, clean your bathroom, getting some good (and functional) exercise, then take a bubble bath. That, to me, is the height of self-indulgence! Just a thought. DeniseK
