I feel like I'm losing the will to do this. It's been said that I have been keeping myself in withdrawl because I have been cut back so long. It's also been said I should just quit now, but I can't seem to do it. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am scared. I've been a smoker for 35 years. This is so much harder than anything I've ever done. I do have grandchildren that I want to see grow up. I want to see my great-grandchildren. I am a strong woman and I know I'm stronger than the nicodemon. I keep thinking maybe it just isn't my time to quit. That's a copout, I know that. I am going to keep posting here and still plan to give this my best shot on Saturday.

This is why I post here because left to my own I will listen to this stupid head of mine. Thanks for all the great words. I'll keep trying. It's just 3 days ahead of me. I keep thinking I'm going to have to lock myself up in my house.

Do others on here have the same thoughts or did you about just locking yourself away for the first couple of day's?
I do have a project in my house I plan on tackling beginning Saturday and if I can will just stay there all day long.
That is exactly my plan, to be away from anything and anyone. There are a couple of things I need to do out and about but for the most part I can stay home and be crabby to only me. And yell and scream if I want.

So I've smoked I think about 8 today. Jeremy's friend Shane is on his last days in the hospital dying of leukemia. Jeremy is my son and Shane is his best friend since they were 8. They are now 18 and 19. I am so sad and stressed. I expected I would smoke more, but you know what? I have been mindful of it even today. I'm taking whatever comes and still planning this quit on Saturday. We don't know what tonight or tomorrow holds for Shane and it is devastating.
Thoughts and comments please, because I have to do what I have to do no matter what life brings or takes away.

Home from the Hospital again tonight and that's my plan. Need to relax and eat. That hungry, angry, lonely and tired thing is nipping at my heels. Still planning the Saturday quit. Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement.

I feel pretty much in control. Shane passed away this morning. I have not smoked too much. I still have 4 to last me the day and I still intend to give this my best shot in the morning. Thank You for all of your support. I'll check in before I go to the gym. Haven't been all week since I've been at the hospital most of it.
