Terry, get a straw, hard candy, mints, gum...something to keep your mouth busy. Something else that really, really helps is to change your routine around a bit, have your shower first and then coffee or that type of switch, just so it is different and it eases the cravings. I am a coffee lover too, and I refused to give up my coffee, but the routine change did the trick! If you find it tough, come here and post for help! Thats what we're here for! You can do this! Its a few days of uncomfortableness and then it gets better and better! Hang in there! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 3/5/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 328 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 8,200 Amount Saved: $3,460.40 Life Gained: Days: 43 Hrs: 1 Mins: 38 Seconds: 46

Terry, your gym workouts are going to be so much better when you quit. In fact I noticed daily positives when I quit, keep those handy and your quit reasons. You can do this, we will help :D My Milage: My Quit Date: 5/3/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 269 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 2,690 Amount Saved: $470.75 Life Gained: Days: 26 Hrs: 5 Mins: 49 Seconds: 49

You can do it. Delay, delay, delay... and remember the cold water and deep breathing. You will be just fine. I'm so excited! :) My Milage: My Quit Date: 8/25/2007 Smoke-Free Days: 155 Cigarettes Not Smoked: 4,650 Amount Saved: $906.75 Life Gained: Days: 13 Hrs: 23 Mins: 50 Seconds: 5

Sounds like a private joke and I definitely don't get it. What do the meals have to do with coffee? OK so this is where I am right now. I smoked 6 smokes today and 2 were bummed because I hadn't bought any. I did not stop and get any on the way home and I can go to bed without another and wake up and get to the gym and the grocery store without one to start my day. We'll see if I can just continue that throughout the day. UGH!
