Rusty the soup is fine but I am getting tired of it. Thats the only draw back, I get tired of eating is before the diet ends lol. Welcome Charlie Girl and redrosie - nice to have you join the group. Hello everyone - I've been around and being pretty good for the most part - had kinda tough weekend with another birthday party....I am also feeling a bit frustrated as I think I've been being good about what I eat and exercising 20-30 minutes on the treadmill atleast 5 times a week and the weight just isn't budging much. I've lost 6 pounds since the 1st of the year - I usually loose more than that on Slimfast diet - wish it all came off as quick as it goes on. But I was wondering - does your metabolism change after quitting? I am thinking maybe I need to try a different kind of diet. I would really like to loose about 30 lbs more by August 26th - my son is getting married.....sorry about rambling I know I should be happy about the -6 - atleast it's not +6 - but I am getting frustrated and don't want to give up this fight!!!!! Today coffee/green tea b. oatmeal s. 100 calorie snack l. popcorn/slimfast bar s. cheese/crackers d. fish sticks/brocolli/potatoes 30 minutes on the treadmill Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated....thanks everyone!!!

Rusty- I have a very healthy respect for prednisone. It is a 2 sided sword as far as side effects/relief. It is VERY unusual to lose weight on prednisone. Keep an eye on these side effects. So glad you have gotten relief though. Get healthy!!! Hi Healer and welcome, I'm just drizzling about a teaspoon of olive oil on the toast. I use flax oil and ground flax seed in cottage cheese. My doc has me on the flax (it's good for EVERYTHING) and several diet books got me to change from butter to olive oil on toast.

Hi All! Wendy, Lady, Thanks for the email. I am alive and basically well. Its just been a hectic week with TOO MUCH to accomplish in a limited time. My birthday was last week and we had 2 other mini celebrations, so my diet went down the drain. I did manage to go to Tai Chi twice and the Tai Chi video I ordered came in. Havent put it to use yet, but plan to this week. Starting back on the diet tomorrow. b- cottage cheese/flax, toast/olive oil l- chicken/cheese/spinach on English muffin d- left over stuffed salmon, tomato/pasta/cheese s- chocolate ice cream/banana (bad girl, bad bad girl) Have a great week everyone. :)
