Advice anyone?

Are you using anything to help? I reccomend the Haiboitrol patch. Especially if your a heavy smoker. Not only does it help, it reminds you that if you smoke on the patch, you could die really soon. I know thats sounds crazy but its helped me a lot. Also I cant reccomend the Austrailian Tea Tree Chewing sticks enough. You can find them at all naturaul health food places. They are toothpicks made for chewing that have all naturaul tewa tree oils that are very strong menthol and even give your mouth a little naturaul buzz. Stay Strong! Advice anyone?

Angela, More power to you not using the patch BUT, Ive tried to quit cold trukey before. I always relapsed eventually, whether it was 1 day 5 days or even 7+ days. The patch is the ONLY thing that has ever enabled me to quit this long. Im over 2 weeks now for the first time in 15 years. The patch is easing me off the nicotine gradually, and also reminds me that even if I wanted to I cant smoke. Everyone is different, this is just my take on it from my personal experience.

Social drinking and not smoking

Cool for yuou toxinfree...but remember you don't have to drink to go out with friends. My band played a great private party that we play every year last night. They host is always great and gives us whatever we want. They had all my favorite beers there! I wanted one BUT I knew it would make not smoking harder. So I abstained. For the next 3-4 or 4 weeks Im basically cutting myself off. Im amazed you were able to drink and not smoke BUT its probably because you had people that care about you with you. MAke sure your with people like that if your gonna drink. Remember, drinking not only makes you want to smoke but impairs your judgement as well. getting to being a non-smoker - not an ex-

Your post about Jack is making me drool over here! Im not a heavy drinker by anymeans BUT since quitting Ive stopped all together. I wanna be smoke free for at least 1 month before attempting any kind of drinking. I was talking to a friend last night who said he'd done the patc h and quit for 3 months before starting again. I was in shock. When I asked him why after so long he said he had 4 beers one night and couldnt control it. I dont want that to be me. Something I'm Proud of

A little personal story. I hope this post isnt too off-topic. I am a musician and have my own recording studio in my house. I recall when I was smoking always taking a smoke break, then getting side tracked ect. I am amazed at the freedom I have now not needing that smoke break anymore. I can get so much more done.Im finally finishing a project I've been working on for 2 years. I'm very proud of it since I play almost all the instruments on the album. The only thing I didnt play was the drums. OF course, I dont like soudning full of myself so I amde up fake names for the musicians.
