What a good laugh. Can I borrow that 2 by 4 when you're finished? I sure could use it today and I'm sure tomorrow as well.
Good luck
Terri

Hi Tutti! Glad today was better for you. Mine was much better to. Decided not to feel so sorry for myself today. I worked around the house and even drove myself to walmart.
Hope we have an even better day tomorrow.

Never give up! Sometimes it just takes a few times to quit. It's so hard. But if you don't keep trying you will never make it :eg: I made it 20 days and caved. So now I'm starting all over again. It happens. There are alot of nice people on here to keep you filled with good advice. Good luck!!!

Good morning Tutti. Well they say the nicotine is out of my system after three days but I sure am craving this morning. I have plans to stay busy today with the pillows so that will help me get through one more day. I have noticed that I'm not eating as much though. Seems like I don't really want to eat anything at all. Is that normal? I know it wasn't like that with my last quit.
Hell week is over so now it's a piece of cake right? haha

Thanks Aunt Deb. The doctor says i can drive as long as its comfortable and I'm not on the drugs. So I skipped the drugs for awhile this morning. It did hurt alittle driving but it felt so good to get out. My first instinct was to light up but since I didnt have any it was ok. I made it there and back. I bought stuff to make pillows and bought lots of chew stuff :) I promised myself yesterday that I would get up this morning and quit feeling so sorry for myself. So far I have had a good morning. It's going to be a good day. I know it's going to get easier sooner or later.
I can't believe how bad my car smells though :gasp: But I will work on that as soon as I am mobile again. Have a good day!!

Good morning Tutti. I did smoke almost 3 packs a day. Maybe I better recheck my meter. It said I was a 10 on the scale of women smokers. Glad to be a 10 somewhere. :p Sunflower seeds are a great ideal. I love peanuts too. I woke up feeling better today. Maybe I will force myself to get dressed and head to Walmart. I avoid driving because of smoking and it's still pretty painful working my fee. But I need to go to find me a hobby.
Thanks for your ideals. I am going to be strong today.Good ludck to you today as well. And to everyone.
Terri

Hi Tutti. Thanks for the kind words. The doctor has increased the meds and I sleep alot. He doesn't want me to feel any pain. My husband works shift work so I'll always have at least 8 hours away from him. I can't understand why he doesn't want me to quit. He thinks I have to much to worry about now. I do have so many chnages in my life. I am so used to working alot of hours and staying busy at home. Now I have lost my job and I am pretty much useless right now. So many restricions!! If only I could do more it would make this easier. 8 more weeks and I'll be able to more. I am going to make some pillows tomorrow. I just don't want to sleep all the time. The pain isn't real bad. Just lots of leg cramps.
Thank you for looking me up. It means alot to me to know someone cares. I don't have anyone to stay with it. But I do go in another room when he smokes. He leaves them laying around just to tempt me I'm sure. Just makes me more determined to prove him wrong ;)
Thanks again. I wish I had you to talk to all day long. Thanks again!!! My spelling might be off to. With these meds its hard to think straight sometimes :confuse:

Welcome Amy. Good luck. I'm new at this too. I have had lots of good advice. I don't have support at home so I really rely on this sight. So far its been great. Hang in there. You can do it.
Terri
Yes I allow no smoking in the computer room. He doesnt use the computer to often. He says I am to *****y when I quit. But I don't think I am. I just don't want to smell it. I'm not ready for that yet. Thats what happened last time.
I am going to try going to walmart in the morning. Its still a chore trying to drive. But I am going to try it again. I will get some of them candles. And lots more mints. hahaha Thanks for the help
