Hey, thanks everyone for being so supportive. I couldn't have done it without this website and educating myself about nicotine. I do have to give myself a little credit too!
As for my reward - I am enjoying watching my money grow. I do want a microdermabrasion kit though. My new healthy looking skin deserves it!
Thanks again guys! Lets do a huddle, everyone in the middle -
GO FIGHT WIN!
Hi Katie - week two is alot easier. I was still riding on the high that I actually was not smoking! I have noticed my skin looks more clear and radiant, have you? I am getting ready to go to a job interview and it is so nice not having to "De-Stink" myself! Great job getting past one week!

I just saw on the news that pregnant women who smoke have children who are more likely to smoke AND those children will have more difficulty quitting than children of non smoking mothers. WHEW, what a long sentence.
So, everyone who is pregnant, add that to your ever growing list of reasons why WE DON'T SMOKE ANY MORE!

Hi! Good for you not buying a pack for that "one" - I felt exactly the same way. When I would feel like that I would breath, drink water, log onto this website, and suck on candy. Believe it or not, it gets easier everyday! I promise.

I haven't had it very rough either (knock on wood.) I agree with what Healer Within wrote about "looking for something." We can talk ourselves into anything! I just continue to do what I have learned to do (drink liquids, candy, ect...) and stay positive. Each day gets better. I did crave more on certain days but I got through it. Keep up the good work!

Good job!!!! Take it one hour at a time! Your positive attitude will serve you well. I bought a big bag of hard candy and popped one in every time I felt the urge to smoke. It really helps! Keep up the good work!
I used to be a big coffee drinker smoking morning person too. That was my favorite part of the day. Now I am sippin' on that coffee while catching up with you fine folks! Shaking up our routine a little, the end results are glorious!
